Overview

For those who want to experience the ultimate escape from the urban core, The Outlying Islands Hopper delivers a sweeping, multi-day voyage through Hong Kong’s iconic and culturally rich islands. Over three spectacular days, this cruise connects the distinct personalities of the archipelago: the vibrant traditions of Cheung Chau, the bohemian tranquility of Lamma, and the dramatic, spiritual coastlines of Lantau. By day, explore historic temples, stilt villages, and coastal paths; by night, unwind in the unparalleled comfort of an extravagant yacht anchored in peaceful, secluded bays.

The Experience

Day 1: Departing Victoria Harbor, the cruise sails southwest to the dumbbell-shaped island of Cheung Chau. Guests step ashore to stroll the bustling Praya Street waterfront, sample famous local street snacks like giant fish balls and mango mochi, and visit the historic 18th-century Pak Tai Temple. As the afternoon cools, the yacht cruises to a sheltered bay off Lamma Island, anchoring for an evening under the stars.

Day 2: Wake up to the gentle lapping of waves before heading ashore to experience Lamma Island. Guests can walk the scenic Lamma Family Trail, enjoying panoramic cliff lookouts and a stop at Hung Shing Ye Beach. After exploring the independent cafés of Yung Shue Wan village, return to the vessel to sail toward western Lantau Island. The yacht anchors near the dramatic cliffs of the southwest peninsula for the night.

Day 3: The final day begins at the historic fishing village of Tai O on Lantau Island. Guests take a guided exploration through the narrow waterways lined with traditional Tanka stilt houses. Keep an eye out for the rare Chinese White Dolphins that frequent these waters before boarding the vessel for a leisurely, scenic return cruise along Lantau’s southern shore back to Victoria Harbor.

Dining & On-Board Hospitality

An all-inclusive culinary journey awaits on board, crafted daily by our private chef. Guests enjoy freshly prepared breakfasts and elegant multi-course dinners featuring local and international flavors on deck. Lunches are designed to let you experience the islands, with Day 1 and Day 3 featuring curated packed artisan lunches for onshore exploration, while Day 2 features a classic Cantonese seafood lunch at a celebrated waterfront restaurant in Sok Kwu Wan.
